Which banks do you support?
In order to make lending decisions, we rely heavily on being able to analyse each applicant's income and expenditure. We do this by allowing people to connect their bank accounts to Abound using Open Banking. Currently, we're able to support customers of all of the below banks:

- B Bank
- Bank of Scotland (BOS)
- Bank of Ireland
- Barclays
- Cashplus
- Cater Allen
- Clydesdale Bank
- Coutts
- Cumberland Building Society
- Danske
- First Direct
- First Trust Bank
- Halifax
- HSBC
- Lloyds Bank
- M&S Bank
- Monzo
- Monese
- Nationwide Building Society
- Natwest
- Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)
- Revolut
- Sainsburys Bank
- Santander
- Starling Bank
- Tesco Bank
- TSB
- Ulster Bank
- Virgin Money
- Yorkshire Bank
While we're currently only able to support the banks on this list, we will be adding more banks over the coming months. If your bank isn't currently listed, please keep an eye out for any new additions in the future.
What about Metro Bank?
Unfortunately we are unable to support Metro Bank.
Switched banks in the last 6 months?
In order to make a lending decision we need to have at least 6 months of transaction data. If you have switched banks and closed an old account within this timeframe, unfortunately, open banking doesn't allow us to connect to your old bank accounts. This means that we can only see your transaction data from your new account and don't have enough information to offer you a loan at this stage.
However, we encourage you to re-apply once your new account has been open for 6 months.
